Students for Rand Lives On

After the Iowa Caucus, many Rand Paul students were shocked by the results, but some wonder what would be of Students for Rand, an organization that has over 500 campus chapters and 50,000 members nationwide. Rand Paul has made a much-awaited announcement for the future of Students for Rand. Here’s Dr. Paul’s official statement:

Students for Rand blossomed into something greater than I could have imagined. We had more than 500 campus chapters and 50,000 members nationwide.

Your dedication was the driving force behind our campaign, and I cannot thank you enough for your commitment. Now that our official campaign is over, I would like to announce…

Students for Rand will continue as Young Americans for Liberty (YAL).

I strongly encourage you and every young person who supports our message to join YAL today.

YAL is the largest and fastest-growing libertarian and conservative youth organization on America’s college campuses.

Our campaign’s best leaders honed their skills through YAL first, including hundreds of chapter leaders, dozens of State Coordinators, several of our Regional Coordinators, and Cliff Maloney Jr., my National Youth Director.

YAL laid the foundation for our effective, student-based movement. YAL continues to change lives and is the engine which drives the youth movement for liberty forward.

My campaign may have ended, but the revolution continues with YAL.

Be sure to sign up as a member today so the YAL team knows you are ready to go.
